Jackie London
Jackie London is a Master of Science candidate at New York University majoring in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. She joined the C&J Nutrition family in January of 2010 and is thrilled to be a part of such a dedicated and enthusiastic team!
Jackie’s work with C&J Nutrition includes a variety of responsibilities, including research, writing, and social media outreach. She is also active in the planning, development, and execution of C&J Nutrition’s Corporate Wellness programs, as well as their work with a variety of publications including SELF and Shape magazines.
In addition to her work with C&J Nutrition, Jackie is an active member of the dietetics professional community. She is the student representative for the Pediatrics Student Interest Group within the Greater New York Dietetic Association, and has worked with Healthy Schools Healthy Families in New York City. She has also volunteered as a nutrition educator with the City Harvest Well Seasoned program and does nutrition-related volunteer work at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Besides her work in the dietetics profession, Jackie also manages the publicity and outreach for Basis, a company dedicated to providing 100% traceable, local, and affordable food for New Yorkers.
Prior to entering the NYU Master’s program, Jackie received a B.A. from Northwestern University in Dance and European History. After graduating, Jackie worked in beauty and lifestyle public relations before realizing her goal of becoming a registered dietitian.
More About Jackie
- Growing up in New York City, Jackie danced in an ensemble trained in ballet, jazz, tap, and modern dance and taught dance to children in NYC neighborhoods with limited exposure to the arts.
- These days, Jackie loves to spend time outdoors running in her spare time. She is currently training for her second marathon after running in last year’s Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C.
- Jackie recently discovered her love of cooking! She enjoys improving the nutritional content of favorite recipes and has begun to develop a few originals of her own. Her favorite things to cook include seafood and shellfish, soups, and stir-fries (yum!)
